Expert Lecture Series 3#, LPH UIN Presents Experienced Auditors Abroad
Gowa - Despite the weekend, the Halal Examination Institute (LPH) UIN Alauddin Makassar again held a halal expert lecture. This time is the third series. The activity was held virtually through a zoom meeting, Sunday (11/17/2024) starting at 08.00 Wita until 12.00 Wita.
With the theme “Auditor Strategies and Opportunities After the Main LPH”, this activity presents expert speakers who have experience as halal auditors abroad. The first speaker was Drs. Adisam, ZN. M.Si., MBA who is the Senior Lead Auditor, Operational Director and BIC Halal Korea. While the second speaker was Andi Syahrullah Sulaimana, M.Agr., M.Sc who is a Technical Auditor and International Affairs Coordinator of THIDA Taiwan.
On this occasion, Adisam, who is currently working as an LPH / LHLN BPJPH accreditation assessor since 2022, delivered material with the theme “Integrated Hub Service Indonesia-Korea”. Meanwhile, A.Syahrullah
The activity which was moderated by Awaluddin Iwan Perdana, S.Si., M.Si was attended by hundreds of participants from various elements, starting from several representatives of halal institutions in Indonesia, auditors, lecturers, students and halal practitioners.
Dr. Cut Muthiadin, M.Si as chairman of LPH UIN Alauddin Makassar said that this activity was held by presenting speakers who had audit experience abroad in order to share information and experiences, especially to the LPH auditors he led as part of a series of efforts to welcome field assessment activities against LPH UIN Alauddin which is applying for accreditation from the status of LPH Pratama to LPH Utama.
In this activity, the speakers, both Mr. Adisam and Andi Syahrullah Sulaimana, both emphasized that to become halal auditors abroad, in addition to the need for competency training as halal auditors through training at training institutions certified by BNSP by BPJPH, it is very important for auditors to also have foreign language skills, especially the foreign language of the destination country.
